Zeller was fouled hard by Kentucky's Ramon Harris on a breakaway dunk attempt in the closing minutes of the game and fell awkwardly on his left wrist under the basket.
"When I was over there with him, he really felt a lot of pain," Williams said. "It was right on his wrist - I think it was the outside, is what he was saying. He came down and that's the first thing to hit the floor."
The seven-footer, who has started both of UNC's first two games this season, has thus far averaged 10.0 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 1.5 steals.
