Tony Dow, who played their son Wally on "Leave It to Beaver," will exhibit a sculpture at the Louvre next month.
"Unknown Warrior" is a bronze work of a woman holding a shield.
Dow (pictured), who is 63, also has worked as a TV director. He is best known for playing the older brother of Beaver Cleaver (Jerry Mathers) on "Leave It to Beaver," which ran from 1957 to 1963 on CBS and ABC. Dow has sculpted and painted since his teens.
"Having something shown at the Louvre is about as good as you can get," Dow told The Associated Press. But he discounted the "Beaver" connection in making it to the Paris museum: "I don't think they know anything about that at the Louvre."
